Epson LCD panel, need AC drive oscillator specs pstewart@gwi.net Mon, 27 Oct 1997 11:53:48 -0800 * Messages sorted by: [ date ][ thread ][ subject ][ author ] * Next message: kamdar@yokogawa.yas.com.sg: "lcd displays" * Previous message: GDillin102@ww-td62.proxy.aol.com: "Need Pinouts for Hitachi Color LCD" * Next in thread: kcbartsch@juno.com: "Re: Epson LCD panel, need AC drive oscillator specs" * Post a follow-up to this posting * Go to homepage I've got an Epson LCD panel, from MECI (Mendelsohn Electronics, a surplus house), which very closely resembles the Epson panel Eio.com is selling (ECM A0270-2). It is a 640x200 or 640x240 black-and-white LCD panel apparently from a laptop computer. There is virtually no difference in its appearance from the one shown on eio's LCD page, in fact. MECI supplied a sketchy data sheet with this LCD panel, including very sketchy timing diagrams, and a pinout list. What I need most of all, I think, is information on the AC drive signal required by the device. What is its duty cycle? Its peak-to-peak voltage? Its DC offset, if any? Its frequency? What are its max, min, and typical values for all of these parameters? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Phil Stewart pstewart@gwi.net p.s. It has the markings "DEC-32v-0" and "p300013100" to the left and right of "EPSON", respectively, printed into its p.c. board foil pattern. p.p.s. I've supplied eio's proprietors with MECI's data sheet, which hopefully will be of help to others working with this device. I strongly suspect it is the same device. * Next message: kamdar@yokogawa.yas.com.sg: "lcd displays" * Previous message: GDillin102@ww-td62.proxy.aol.com: "Need Pinouts for Hitachi Color LCD" * Next in thread: kcbartsch@juno.com: "Re: Epson LCD panel, need AC drive oscillator specs" * Post a follow-up to this posting * Go to homepage
